Less than a year after its launch, Magic: ManaStrike, the Magic: The Gathering action mobile game from Wizards of the Coast and Netmarble, is shutting down.

Announced on the game's forums, the ManaStrike servers will shut down for good on Feb. 23, 2021.  After which, the game will no longer be available.

"Through all this process, the Management team feels grateful for the time we have spent together, and we will cherish every moment until the very end," says the game's management team via forum post.  "While this is not easy news to hear, we once again thank you for your passion and support, and for helping Magic: ManaStrike live as long as it has."

Magic: ManaStrike launched for iOS and Android devices in January 2020 as a free-to-play, action-strategy mobile game.  Magic Untapped reviewed the game back in February and thought that it was "worth a shot."
