Unfinity release date pushed back to latter half of 2022 WOTC

Citing ongoing supply chain issues and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Wizards of the Coast has pushed back the release date of the next "Un-" set, Unfinity, until the latter-half of 2022.

The company made it clear that, at this point, no other upcoming Magic: The Gathering release is being delayed.

"This delay is specific to Unfinity, and we'll have more information to share in the coming months," they say in a statement.  "We greatly appreciate your understanding as we work toward our updated release timing and the wacky excitement Unfinity brings."

Unfinity was originally scheduled for release on April 1, 2022.

Magic: The Gathering's next major release, Innistrad: Double Feature, is scheduled to come out Jan. 28.  The game's next "premier" release is Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, which is due out Feb. 18.
