If you've ever wondered if Twilight Sparkle would make a Magic card, you'll soon have your chance to find out.

'Magic' card Twilight SparkleWizards of the Coast has announced a special three-card promotional Magic: The Gathering set featuring some of the animated television show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic's most popular characters: Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and Luna/Nightmare Moon.

Called Ponies: The Galloping, the silver-bordered set will be sold along with matching playmats on HasbroPulse.com beginning Oct. 22 for $50 per card set and $99.99 for the matching playmats.  There will also be four My Little Pony themed digital card sleeves that can be used on Magic Arena that will sell for $3.99 each.  All net proceeds will be going to Extra Life to benefit the Seattle's Children's Hospital.

Despite being a three card set, some of the show's other ponies are made reference to despite them not having cards of their own such as Rainbow Dash and Applejack.  While Ponies: The Galloping consists of only the three aforementioned cards, there could be a chance that WotC could release future charity sets based around the popular cartoon that would feature some of the show's other characters.
