Let's crack open some booster packs of Kaladesh!
Released in September of 2016, Kaladesh is the 72nd expansion for Magic: The Gathering. It consists of 264 cards; of which, 53 are rare and an additional 15 are mythic rare. The set also includes a special, very limited sub-set of ultra-premium cards known as "Inventions."
Despite the set's overall favorable reception, there are only three in the set that are worth $10 or more:
- Spirebluff Canal, ($16.50);
- Authority of the Consuls ($11), and;
- Blooming Marsh ($10.75);
The Invention cards, however, are a different story with the top card being worth nearly a grand and the next couple not too far behind it:
- Mana Vault ($938);
- Sol Ring ($875), and;
- Lotus Petal ($550).
Magic Untapped picked up five booster packs of Kaladesh from Hobby Badger Games in West Sacramento, Calif. They cost us $10 apiece, which means we oly dropped $50 total on them in total.
