Magic Untapped cracks open some Dominaria booster packs.
Dominaria United might be the latest set to release for Magic: The Gathering, but we’re going to crack open some booster packs from the previous set to take place on the plane: The appropriately-named set, Dominaria, which released in 2018.
Dominaria was the first time the game of Magic had returned to its original setting since the set Future Sight in May of 2007.
The set was well received, though it hasn’t stood up too well in terms of value as there are only four cards worth more than ten dollars. Those are:
- Mox Amber, a mythic rare clocking in at $64.99;
- Planeswalker Teferi, Hero of Dominaria at $34.97;
- Rare artifact Helm of the Host at just over $16.00, and;
- Mythic rare Lyra Dawnbringer, which lists at exactly $16.00.
Magic Untapped picked three Dominaria booster packs from Big Brother Comics in Sacramento, California, for $6 apiece. That's a modest $18 for the trio.
