Magic Untapped cracks open some booster packs of Renaissance, a Europe-only Magic: The Gathering release.
Magic: The Gathering's Renaissance set came out in mid-1995, but it didn't release in the USA. Rather, it was a Europe-only set meant to catch the continent up with previous Magic: The Gathering releases now that the game was gaining popularity there.
A 122-card set (released as a 60 card set in Italian due to Legends and The Dark having been previously released in the language), Renaissance boasts a number of memorable and notable cards from Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, The Dark, and even a couple from Unlimited including Sylvan Library, City of Brass, Land Tax, Strip Mine, Greed, and Triskelion, with each of those cards (at the time of this article's publication) being worth $20 or more. There are also a number of other noteworthy and useful cards at lower price points, such as Winds of Change, Fellwar Stone, Ashnod's Altar, Ball Lightning, and the Urzatron lands (Urza's Mine, Urza's Power Plant, and Urza's Tower).
Magic Untapped dropped $18 ($9 per pack) on two German-language booster packs of Renaissance.
