During GenCon 2024, Wizards of the Coast announced the return of Mystery Booster.
The announcement for Mystery Booster 2 came during Magic: The Gathering senior designer Gavin Verhey's AMA panel, though not much is yet known about the product beyond that it exists.
"Mystery Booster 2 is the return of a Magic fan favorite, packed with all the things players loved about the original Mystery Booster plus nostalgia nods to the past and future," the company states on their website.
Wizards of the Coast has, however, made public that, just like with the original Mystery Booster set, it will include playtest cards and "old favorites." It is also being curated with drafting in mind.
The company says that they will share more details (and cards) on August 6 at 10 a.m. PT during its WeeklyMTG program.
