Let's crack open a collectors booster box of Magic: The Gathering Foundations.
Just released today, November 15, Foundations is a set designed for new players, but with plenty of cool things for enfranchised players as well.
The base set is 292 cards, but add on some 438 other cards by means of variants and whatnot and you have quite the whopper of a set.
As of script writing, the top five non-foil cards that can be found in the set are:
- The borderless version of Sire of Seven Deaths at $33.71;
- The borderless version of Bloodthirsty Conqueror at $28.24;
- Doubling Season, a reprint at mythic, at $27.92;
- The normal version of Bloodthirsty Conqueror at $27.55, and;
- The borderless version of Twinflame Tyrant at $26.77.
This Collectors Box was purchased at Big Brother Comics in midtown Sacramento, California, for $229 (before tax, of course).
