The recent TCGplayer/Wizards of the Coast charity Magic: The Gathering event was a major success and raised more than $75,000 for MagiKids and Extra Life.
According to data from TCGplayer, more than 280,000 people watched the event across all livestream channels and all of the items up for bid for the event's eBay Live auctions sold -- many for hundreds of dollars a piece.
"The event was fantastic," says TCGplayer Senior Communications Manager, Lyndsay Woods.
In the event, TCGplayer's team won, beating Wizards of the Coast's players 8-4.
