Buckle up because Aetherdrift has an octane-filled selection of promos for Magic: The Gathering players.
Prerelease Promos
Starting with the set's prerelease, players will (as usual) be given a date-stamped foil rare or mythic rare card with their prerelease kit as a promo card, but that's not all. New with Aetherdrift is a special pin from Pinfinity AR for Magic players who participate in two or more prerelease events using their Wizards account.
Buy-A-Box Promos
Those who purchase a play and/or collector booster box from a Wizards Play Network local game store will be receive an extended art Lifecraft Engine as their buy-a-box promo.
Standard Showdown
Occuring Feb. 14 through April 3, Standard Showdown winners will be given a special Cowboy Bebop version of Lightning Strike.
Store Championship
The Aetherdrift Store Championship is scheduled to take place between March 8 through 30. A Standard-legal event, it features three promos that players can receive: Deep-Cavern Bat, Preacher of the Schism, and Virtue of Persistence.
Commander Party
Taking place between Feb. 21 through 27 and March 14 through 20 is Commander Party, an event designed so that players can get together for games of Commander complete with special rules designed to further immerse them into the Aetherdrift story. For Aetherdrift, that means zooming around a racetrack, boosting their speed and triggered abilities as they leave the competition in the dust.
The promo for these events is a retro-frame Rishkar's Expertise.
Aetherdrift is scheduled to release Feb. 14.
