WotC partners with Square in support of WPN stores

Wizards of the Coast announces a partnership with e-commerce company Square to deliver data-driven results for WPN local game stores.

Wizards Play Network (WPN) stores may opt in to the pilot program.  Those that do will receive in two free Tarkir: Dragonstorm Play Booster displays exchange for the automated sharing of inventory and sales data for WotC products.  The company says this will allow them to improve the operational support of WPN businessness through advanced insights in areas such as product availability, promotional support, and program offerings.

"For example, sharing point-of-sale data can provide us with more accurate tools for demand planning and triggering reprints, and allow us to explore potential time-saving automations for you when updating your store catalog for new sets," states the game company.

WPN members can choose to opt into the program, which is exclusively available to retailers who use Square, through March 31.  WotC says the two free Tarkir: Dragonstorm Play Booster displays are only available for the first 300 WPN stores who sign up.
