Fans of Magic: The Gathering’s Universes Beyond line will likely be pleased to know that there’s a chance that the next UB set, Marvel’s Spider-Man might see more than one print run.
When asked about it, Wizards of the Coast representative Alexander Smith replied that he “can confirm that Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man is eligible for multiple print runs.”
“Some products, such as Collector Boosters, only have a single print run,” he continued.
As for other sets currently available from the company, Smith had no specific information to share about additional print run plans. He did say, however, that the door is open for more at some point.
“While I do not have information to share about plans for additional printings of Magic: The Gathering—Final Fantasy, Edge of Eternities, or Magic Foundations, these are not restricted and could have additional print runs for Play Boosters.”
As all of the mentioned sets are in MTG’s Standard format and will be for years, players are likely hoping that more print runs are in the works.
