Secret Lair is about to get more chaotic

Wizards of the Coast is adding some chaos to its Secret Lair offerings.

Sneakily launched last month is a new section of their Secret Lair website that is all about shaking up how they do Secret Lair drops.  Called the Chaos Vault, it's WotC's go at an anything-goes way to do Secret Lairs including one-offs and weird things.

"Chaos is right in the name, so you can expect the unexpected here—from launching sales at unusual times to experimentation to offering up unusual items (we heard you like hats)—the Chaos Vault will not disappoint those looking for a storefront with a little something extra," states WotC Senior Communications Manager Blake Rasmussen.

The first known drop comes out next week.  It will consist of all five basic lands (ten copies of each) featuring artwork from Scott Balmer.

And the Balmer basic lands are only the beginning for the Chaos Vault.

"We plan to get a bit more twisted and downright chaotic with future drops," Rasmussen says.

To stay informed on future Chaos Vault Secret Lair drops, WotC recommends that folks sign up for the Chaos Vault email list.
